Praying for good choices

Today we had a call with the doctor regarding our daughters treatment. We told her about the behavioral issues we have observed over the past several months. She told us that our daughter would be in the facility for 30 days initially. She was required to follow a structured schedule, including school, and so far, she has been complying

Later in the day, we received a call from a worker at the facility to ask if our daughter had permission to get a haircut. We had to email the permission to them as a formality. Later in the day, after agreeing to the haircut, we received another call stating our daughter had requested a haircut in which more than 5 inches would be cut off. We decided to say yes and see how things went. Our daughter did not call us this evening, so we aren't sure if yesterday's phone call was simply to get permission for the haircut.

Lord, help our child make good choices.  Remind our daughter we love her and want what is best for her. Keep her safe and help her to understand that structure is a part of life. Lord, wrap your loving arms around her. In Jesus name, Amen.
