Positive communication

We didn't have much to update yesterday, we called to get an update on how our daughter was doing. We were told that she had been complying with the medication schedule and overall was doing good, but refused to talk to us. We had a great day at church and then dinner with family.
Today we called for an updated and they said she was doing well. I tried to contact the doctor to see if an initial assessment had been completed, but only received a voicemail. Around 2:30 pm, we received a phone call from the facility to schedule a call with the clinical staff. We set a time for Tuesday at 10:00 am to go over her assessment and discuss her stay there. Initially we were told that the stay would be from 1-7 months, depending on how she responded to therapy. We hope that we will have her back home with us after the 30 days are up, as long as we know she is well and is making safe choices.
At 7:30 pm, my wife received a call from the facility stating that our daughter wanted to speak with her, we were very surprised. When she came to the phone, she sounded pleasant and like herself. She said that she didn't like the facility and wanted to come home. We told her that we missed her and also wanted her home, but we needed to follow through with therapy and make sure she was well. She told us that the facility allowed them to get their hair cut and styled, but that we needed to give permission. She said that we would be receiving an email with a permission form. She didn't say exactly what she wanted to get done with her hair, so we were a little concerned. Our daughter has requested many times to get her hair cut in very radical ways. She spoke with my wife for about 10-15 minutes until her time was up, at which time she ended the call saying "I love you" which was unusual because she rarely ever says it to us. We are hopeful that things will be getting better for her and that the positive communication will continue.
Lord, thank you for keeping our daughter safe. Thank you for opening the lines of communication between us. Lord, help our daughter to get well and continue to seek contact with us. We long to see her return home to us, but we leave that up to you, let your will be done. Lord, keep your hand of protection on our daughter while she resides in a facility far from home. In Jesus , name Amen.
