Lord, go with our little girl

This morning, I received a call from the facility in Georgia telling me the that the pre-authorization from our insurance had gone through and they could intake our daughter as early as this evening. They said that they were emailing me the admission documents to complete and wanted to know if we had determined how she would be transported. We made some phone calls to the local medical transport service and determined that they would transport her the entire way between the two facilities, instead of doing a mid-trip swap.
We were getting down to the wire on the transport being able to take place. I was told that the insurance would only cover part of the transport and that they needed a credit card on file from me or they would not be able to transport. I provided my card info and they were set to transport. My wife and I had to hurry and get the necessary clothing that was required by the new facility. We went to the store and bought her clothes and headed to the local facility so that we could be sure she had what she needed before the transport had arrived. When we arrived, I brought her suitcase to the lobby and asked to see the staff member we had been working with. When she came out to the lobby, she advised me that the transport service said that it was too late in the day to make the drive and that they would make the trip first thing in the morning.
We left the local facility with mixed emotions, we were sad she was going someplace far away, but we knew that she needed the care they could provide her in a safe environment. This is such a tough time in our lives, but I know that we are not alone. Since sharing this difficult time in our lives, we have had many people come to us and say they experienced a similar event with their child. On one hand, it is comforting that we are not alone, on the other hand it is sad that we are not alone. It has never been more apparent than it is today and that satan wants to destroy our families. He wants to get a foot hold in our families through our innocent children. The enemy deceives our children with music and social media, bombarding them with lies and making them desensitized to the evil of this world. We need to stand together as parents, support one another and crush satan under our feet!
Lord, please go with our daughter as she travels away from home. Please let her know that we are doing what we feel is best for her given the circumstances we are faced with. Lord, make this a positive experience for our daughter. I pray that when she returns from this facility, she will have a desire to help other children facing similar issues. Lord, help our daughter to use her leadership skills for the kingdom of God. Lord, ignite a fire in her heart for you. I speak positive things over her life, she is smart, beautiful, strong, kind, caring, respectful, humble, and loving. Keep you hand upon her Lord. In Jesus name, Amen.
