Declare War

It is time for us dads to declare war on enemy that is tormenting our children. The enemy is attacking our children at an alarming rate. The amount of confusion our children are experiencing today is insane. The enemy knows that our children are the weakest access point to get a foothold in our families. Once he gets a grip on our children, he can and will create chaos in our homes. As a christian father, I must pray continuously to be strong when that chaos arises in our home. I must seek Gods word for wisdom and strength daily. Sometimes I react before thinking and say something I immediately regret. Attacking our children is an effective tool for the enemy to be able to disrupt our lives.

God is our refuge and strength, always ready to help in times of trouble.
Psalms 46:1"

As a father, God has given me the responsibility to protect and provide for my family. This means financially, physically and most importantly, spiritually. We are called to stand in the gap for our families and pray on their behalf. We are to rebuke the enemy and demand he leave our families alone. We must take authority over our homes and our children.

A memory came up on my Facebook page today, it was a picture of my daughter 11 years ago when she was 3 years old. She was sweet and innocent and always kind. I can't even look at the photo without my eyes filling with tears. I would give anything to have that season of our lives back. I feel helpless in this situation, but I know that God is perfect in my weakness. I lay this situation at His feet and trust in Him.

As dads, we MUST declare war on the enemy! We MUST stand together and pick each other up on a daily basis. We MUST rid ourselves of pride and call on each other for prayer and wisdom. Starting today I DECLARE WAR on the enemy!
